Exterior paint and wood treatment

BUTINOX has a range of high performance protective wood treatments. They are all Moisture Vapour Permeable which allows the wood to breathe.
Optimal is opaque water-borne silk finish paint for the decorative protection of exterior timber.
Trebitt is a translucent stain and wood preserver for stabilising weathered surfaces giving a silk finish. It can also act as a primer for new wood.
Interior wood treatment

For wood floors we will recommend our Troll varnish, a clear varnish that will provide a durable floor coating.
Wood Rinse Blue is excellent for cleaning decking, outside furniture and anywhere a build up of grease, fungus and other dirt has built up.
For giving timber back its natural glow after cleaning or to add a sheen to old worn interior wood, paint on natural wood soap to add oil and fat content into the wood.
Wood Oil l can be used separately as a surface treatment on most of wood that needs strong protection. Perfect places for use will be: Floors, doors, windowsills, carvings, kitchen equipment and so on.
Fire protection

The clear protective coating systems for timber achieve class 0 and class 1 and can be applied to timber, bamboo, furniture, chipboard, laminates, MDF and plywood to prevent the spread of flame.
Nordic paint has a certified installer of fire proof paint and coating systems. Kristian Eklo has been approved by NAPFIS to install passive fire protection.
